Supporters Urge Arrest of Man Who Grabbed Ariana Grande
Loyal followers of the actress are calling for that a man who leaped a barricade and grabbed the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be detained or deported from Singapore.
A circulating clip depicts the individual from Australia bypassing camera operators and charging at Grande while the cast proceeded down a promenade accompanied by supporters.
Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the premiere by security officers.
Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being detained", though legal records indicated that he was due to be present on the next day. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram account features videos of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last December.
"There needs to be action applied against him as this is evidently a punishable act," stated an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.

Numerous fans blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.
