The UK Prime Minister plans to press allies to deliver Ukraine with further extended-range weaponry to target Moscow's positions during a meeting in the UK capital on Friday.

The prime minister plans to receive Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky alongside the so-called "alliance of supportive nations", including numerous of Kyiv's partners who have committed to provide Ukraine defense assurances once a ceasefire is negotiated.

Ukraine's president has been appealing for several weeks for more extended-range systems from allied countries, a step that Russia has warned would intensify the conflict.
