Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, was gunned down in the central business district on the afternoon of Tuesday.

Police said the forty-year-old media personality was accosted by three individuals, with one opened fire on him before fleeing on foot.

The DJ attempted to flee after he was wounded but collapsed on the opposite side of the road.

Police added that Stock had an unused firearm and no items were stolen during the incident.
