Los Angeles experienced widespread festivities after the Dodgers won a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Fans worldwide joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Local events included a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the crowds, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
